The dates for the 2014 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have been announced. The festival returns for a third year of twin editions at the Empire Polo Club in Indio on April 11-13 and April 18-20, 2014.
Advance sale tickets for Coachella 2014 open to the public on Friday, May 24.
What does that mean? I think it’s fair game for Coachella 2014 lineup predictions.
I’m going to go with two headliner choices to open up my predictions for 2014.

Arcade Fire
-Arcade Fire hasn’t headlined Coachella since 2011 and they’re a fan favorite. The band is going to be releasing a new album, unless something goes drastically awry with LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy. New material often makes Coachella a proving ground.
Also, hearing them do “Rebellion (Lies)” at the Empire Polo Club again would be perfection.
Daft Punk
-Can you really have lineup predictions for Coachella WITHOUT including Daft Punk? Of course not. They have the new album out and apparently were hanging out at Coachella (and there was the rumor that Daft Punk was really in the horse head costumes at the Power Station at Coachella 2013), so maybe they talked with Goldenvoice about headlining Coachella 2014. We can all dream, right?
