Are you planning on picking up tickets to the 2014 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the pre-sale on Friday, May 24?

Here are some tips.

-The festival is taking place April 11-13 and April 18-20. Going with a group of friends? Make sure you coordinate on which weekend you’re buying tickets. Exchanges don’t happen.

-Create your account with Front Gate tickets ahead of time, like now. Here are the links: sign up for weekend one (April 11-13) tickets and sign up for weekend two (April 18-20) passes.

-Want to do a payment plan so the $349 doesn’t hit your wallet all at once? The advance sale is your only chance. The payment plan requires 20 percent down. 6 more payments will be deducted at the beginning of each month. If you default on the payment, you lose the cash you already put down.

-You can only buy two passes. Even if you try to make an additional purchase for friends, your order could be canceled.

-Good luck, everyone!
