Fans, friends and family attended a public celebration for Jeff Hanneman at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday, May 23.
The Slayer guitarist and Hemet resident died on May 2 of liver failure.
Fans lined up around the venue, sporting Slayer shirts and tattoos, to pay tribute to one of the most revered guitarists in heavy metal.
Among those at the memorial were Slayer guitarist Kerry King, who is a Riverside area resident, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian.
