This week the guest on PE Live is Midnight Satellites, a rock group out of Temecula that is celebrating the release of its fantastic debut EP (produced by Finch drummer Alex Pappas) with a show at the Tilted Kilt in Temecula on Saturday, June 1.
You might have heard of the band in its other form–Master Splinter and the Shredders. When they started up a few years ago as a cover band, that was the name. Master Splinter and the Shredders still exist for the fun cover gigs, but the band’s original music is being released as Midnight Satellites.
I explain the whole transition in the Audio File column in the Guide this week.
