If you were planning to catch the “American Idol” tour at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario on July 13, think again.
The tour, which trots out the top 10 finalists and has them sing the songs that America remembered them for on the show, has canceled one quarter of its summer tour dates, including the Ontario one, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The reason given to the publication by a spokesperson for the tour: “Production scheduling changes.”
What does the publicist speak really mean? I think it goes something like this–as the popularity of the reality singing competition has taken a nosedive in the ratings, nobody was buying tickets.
The event is no longer listed on Ontario’s Citizens Business Bank Arena’s website. I don’t see any info posted about refunds for the show. Did you buy tickets for the canceled Ontario date?
