I got to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the facilities set up at San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore for the Mumford and Sons Summer Stampede date on June 2.

The biggest change with this show is that the venue is being used in a completely different way.

There was RV camping and tent camping offered for the show, and nearly 200 campsites were set up in a grassy area where in a month, people with be starting circle pits for the Mayhem Festival.

There was even a little general store at the fenced-in campground, offering was such as blankets and cigarettes.

Nearby, a pool and twin watersides had been open to the campers during the day.

I’m hoping this is only the beginning for events like this at the venue.
