The Epicenter Festival is celebrating its fifth year on Sept. 21 and the festival (which was once held at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, by the way), is opening up the bill to a lucky unsigned band.

Ernie Ball is sponsoring the Epicenter Battle of the Bands and the winner will get to play the show.

You can enter your band and vote at www.battleofthebands.com through September 13, 2013.

The top 100 “Buzz Rated” bands that sign up for the Ernie Ball Epicenter Battle Of The Bands will be eligible to win, but a panel of judges will pick the winner, who will be announced on Monday, Sept. 16.

We’ve got some local bands leading the pack right now, too, including Assuming We Survive, Midnight Satellites and Grieve for Tomorrow all in the top 10 so far.

Temecula’s Midnight Satellites actually did a PE Live session with us a while back. You can watch it below. If you love local music, don’t forget to sign up for the weekly PE Live newsletter, either.

Here’s the lineup for Epicenter:

The Offspring
A Day To Remember
Bad Religion
Pennywise
Pierce The Veil
All Time Low
Falling In Reverse
The Wonder Years
FIDLAR
New Beat Fund
Plague Vendor
