Progressive metal band Dream Theater is embarking on a new tour and one of the stops will be the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside in April 2014.
The band, which just earned a Grammy nod for “The Enemy Inside” in the Best Metal Performance category, last appeared in the Inland Empire when they opened for Iron Maiden at San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore in 2010.
Dream Theater released a new self-titled record in 2013 and will be playing material from that record, as well as songs the group hasn’t played live before and the band’s classic material on the tour.
The Riverside show will be on Friday, April 18.
Tickets go on sale at noon on Friday, Jan. 3, according to the Live Nation event page, and will be prices at $31-$61 before fees.
