CORONA: M15 will host Alien Ant Farm, King’s X and Band Wars

M15 in Corona is the landing spot of some familiar faces in local music.

Ivan McClain, who booked The Vault in Temecula, a beloved local all-ages venue that closed in 2013, has moved to the Corona venue and is wearing a number of hats, including marketing director, in-house talent buyer and special event producer.

Among the popular events from The Vault that he’s bringing to the Corona venue is Band Wars, a local band series which has its first night at M15 on Sunday, March 9. The series will have other nights on March 16 and March 30 in its first run at M15.

In the meantime, one of the Inland region’s most famous bands, Alien Ant Farm, will perform at M15 on Friday, Feb. 28 with a host of other notable locals, including Assuming We Survive, Divide the Day and Strike Twelve, among others.

Also, on Saturday, March 1, King’s X will perform.

Alien Ant Farm: 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, $20, all ages.
King’s X: 7 p.m. Saturday, March 1, $22, all ages.
Band Wars: 5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 9; Sunday, March 16; Sunday, March 30, $10, all ages.
