HEMET: Hooliganz will headline benefit event

Nonprofit group EEK Fitness, which offers sports, recreation and learning activities for children and adults with special needs, is putting on the Reggae Music and Friendship Festival in Hemet this weekend.

Reggae band Hooliganz will headline. Also, Jason Nutter and the Family Band will perform, as well as some of the students at EEK.

There will be activities, a raffle and Caribbean food during the day.

4-7 p.m. Saturday, March 8, Simpson Center, 305 E. Devonshire, Hemet, $5, all ages.
