The Riverside Municipal Auditorium will have something on tap for rock fans this summer when The Cult, they of “Fire Woman” and “She Sells Sanctuary” fame, perform on Saturday, July 26.
Tickets are $30, before fees, and go on sale Friday, June 6 at 10 a.m. The band recently played the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April.
Another previous Coachella group, and more recently the headliner of Palm Springs block party Tachevah, Fitz and the Tantrums, will also be at the venue. The band, which has had big time radio hits with “The Walker” and “Out of My League,” will be at the Muni on Saturday, Sept. 27. Tickets are $25, plus fees, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
And if you love metal, Amon Amarth, who brought a really sweet Viking ship to the Mayhem Festival at San Manuel Amphitheater last summer, will also be at the Muni with Sabaton and Skeletonwitch on Thursday, Sept. 25. Those tickets are $25 and $35, before fees, and are already on sale.
Meanwhile, down the street at the Fox Performing Arts Center, “Last Comic Standing” comes to town on Friday, Sept. 19. Tickets are $25-$40, before fees, and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6.
Also, Argentine duo Pimpinela will perform at the Fox on Saturday, Aug. 16. Tickets are $35-$65 and will be on sale at noon on Friday.
