Riverside just got infinitely cooler with the announcement that Social Distortion will perform at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium on Friday, Sept. 26.
The Orange County punk band, whose sonic chestnuts include “Story of My Life,” “Mommy’s Little Monster” and “Ball and Chain,” is a SoCal favorite.
Tickets are $35 before fees and go on sale Friday, June 13 at 10 a.m. with a few pre-sales starting earlier. You can pick up tickets at livenation.com or at the Fox Performing arts Center’s box office.
For those of you keeping score at home, that means we’ll have three notable rock/alternative shows in a row at the Muni. Bookending Social D is metal bandĀ Amon Amarth on Sept. 25 and Fitz and the Tantrums will perform Sept. 27.
