The recent bombings and mayhem in Boston, seem to have struck a nerve with the Coachella crowd, a red, white and blue nerve.

For the past two day, there have been lots of festival goers donning the American flag be it in bandana, swim trunks, or shirt form.

To continue the head gear discussion, I head out into a sea of people in search of a few skippers.

Lost on the desert without their beloved ship, Coachella seems to have an abundance of sailors wandering around.

Maybe they are on a quest for the closest body of water, or just to reunite with Gilligan.

When coming to Coachella, festival goers dress head to toe, so head wear is not to be neglected.

One option is to join the flower child clan and don a wreath of flowers upon thy luscious locks.

Flowers range from the simple arrangement to the ornate.
