I love the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. I saw them something like seven times before they split and then I went to one of their first reunion shows at the Avalon in Los Angeles a few years back. One of my college friends actually flew in for about 36 hours just to see that show.

Chris LeRoy is one of the most underrated songwriters out there and the band’s new album, “Embrace the Light Outside,” only proves my point more.

A dear friend of mine back home is undergoing three surgeries between today and tomorrow. She is a real-life Wonder Woman who has knocked down cancer every time it’s come her way and I know she’ll kick more butt this week.
