MURRIETA: On Being Human releases new EP
Murrieta-based experimental rockers On Being Human released new EP “eVe” on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
The band is planning to follow up the release with a full length album “In Search of Adam.”
Singer/guitarist Travis Baker, guitarist/synth player/singer Greg Johnson and bassist/synth player/singer Beau Trembly are returning for the record. New on this release are guitarist/synth player Greg Lesondak and drummer/percussionist Scotty Pulliam.
The video game influence that the band holds dear is still evident on the release, but it also has a moodier, darker side on “The Endless” and an edgier metal loving side on songs like “Automation.”
Plus, there’s a cover of Tears for Fears’ “Shout.”
The song “Chasing the Sun” features a 24-piece orchestra and was used in the credits of the Tribeca Film Festival-screened film “Lockdown: Red Moon Escape.”
