Eva and the Vagabond Tales are back and headed to Back to the Grind in Riverside on Friday, Jan. 18.

Nathan Rivera will perform, as will Black Bear and the Cheyenne Autumn Band.

It will be a night of folk, harmonies and accordion goodness across the different acts.

I’ve spent a lot of time over the last few weeks writing about other artists I think will be on the Coachella 2013 lineup and collecting suggestions from readers.

Please bear with this post–this is all about some artists I want to see on the lineup for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival April 12-14 and April 19-21. I have no reason to believe any of them will ever be on the lineup again, but all have played in the past. Temecula’s Finch, which is playing four shows to celebrate the anniversary of “What It Is to Burn” at The Glass House in Pomona Feb. 1,2, 8 and 9, has announced the supporting acts for those dates and there’s some local love, too.

Bratts in Temecula is celebrating local music with a free show Saturday, Jan. 12.

Temecula band Strike Twelve will be playing an acoustic set. The band’s album “Moonshine” was one of my local favorites of 2012.

Gatsby’s Fiddle, Kyle McNeill, Indica Roots, Poetics and Black Bear and the Cheyenne Autumn Band will also be on the bill.

7:30 p.m. Saturday, Bratts,27648 Ynez Road, Temecula, free, 21 and older.

CORONA: M15 hosts local showcase Jan. 11

M15 in Corona is hosting a night of local music for all ages on Friday, Jan. 11.

New Way On, The BrookLead Dreamers, The Kyms, Raise the Anchor and Table for 6 are all on the bill.

The club has been hosting local showcases in addition to the tribute bands and national acts who have been coming through.

On the national scale, Frank Hannon from Tesla will perform Feb. 8, Great White featuring Jack Russell will perform Feb. 16 and guitar hero Uli Jon Roth will perform Feb. 23.
