Times Square will get some Murrieta love tonight on “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

Neon Trees, whose singer, Tyler Glenn, and guitarist, Chris Allen, hail from Murrieta, will be one of the acts on the show.

Revered Redlands-based blues outfit Big Papa and the TCB is working on a new record and is seeking help from its fans to raise money to put it out.

Big Papa and the TCB is expecting to release new album “Six Pack of Blues,” in early 2013 and is raising money to put out physical copies via Kickstarter.
