There will be a candlelight vigil in Riverside at Back to the Grind tonight for Suicide Silence vocalist Mitch Lucker, who died Thursday morning after his motorcycle crashed in Huntington Beach on Wednesday night.

I’m still rattled from the news of Mitch Lucker’s passing. The last interview I did with him was just before the kickoff of the 2011 Mayhem Festival.

The first date for that jaunt was in Devore/San Bernardino at San Manuel Amphitheater (previously known as Glen Helen Pavilion), just when Suicide Silence’s most recent full-length, “The Black Crown” was coming out.

RIVERSIDE: Suicide Silence’s Mitch Lucker killed in motorcycle crash

Mitch Lucker, singer of Suicide Silence, was in a motorcycle crash on Wednesday Oct. 31. He died on Thursday, Nov. 1.

I have some very sad news to report this morning. Mitch Lucker, singer for metal band Suicide Silence, died Thursday morning in Orange County after a motorcycle crash Oct. 31, according to the Orange County Coroner’s office.
