I love video. I’m not afraid of being in front of or behind the camera.
As the local music columnist, I had my own original web series called “PE Live.” Every week we would bring bands into the video studio and film performance and interview segments.
After a while, we decided to take the show into the field. Filming on location at Hangar 24 Brewery, we were able to build a loyal audience who became part of the show.
Since the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is such a popular topic among my readers, we hosted a live Spreecast chat where we patched in readers to offer their predictions for who would be playing the 2014 festival.
I am also comfortable shooting and editing videos.
I did a business profile on the Guerilla Cafe in Berkeley, Calif. as part of my fellowship with the Knight Digital Media Center.
