My coverage of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has become so popular that readers contact me about the festival year-round. I held a very popular online video chat with readers about lineup predictions.
The Inland Empire has some fantastic musical talent that I knew would be a hit with our audience. I created a weekly show called “PE Live,” which featured Inland musicians performing in an intimate setting and doing an interview with me.
I would also write about the artists and tie in “PE Live” with my weekly print column.
Every week we would bring bands into the video studio and film acoustic performance and interview segments. Later, the show went on the road and filmed the artists performing full shows on stage.
